Virginia Beavertail Pouch
Classic Virginia-style pouch from the early 1800’s era. Almost every original Virginian pouch I have seen or examined has featured a long, “beaver tail” flap. In addition to its aesthetic quality, the weight of the powder horn helps keep the flap closed when carrying. Made from cowhide, fully welted, and not lined, but with a hanging, inside pocket. About 7” wide X 7.5 – 8” deep. 1” cowhide shoulder strap with buckle adjustment. SOLD
